[ARCHIVED] Egremont's Halloween Trick and Treat Night: When Ghouls and Goblins Roam Free!

wo small pumpkin candy buckets with faces with spilled out candy corn and text Happy Halloween

Greetings, brave citizens of Egremont! Mark your calendars, dust off your broomsticks, and practice your scariest "Boo!" because Halloween is right around the corner.

Tuesday, October 31, 2023
 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: All around the eerily enchanted neighborhoods of Egremont

Be sure to wear reflective gear and cross streets carefully.

Here are a few Halloween tidbits:

  • Legend has it that trick-or-treating originated as a way to bribe wandering spirits.
  • Statistically speaking, "too much" candy only exists in grown-up talk. Remember, your candy bucket has no limits.
  • Love it or hate it, candy corn was created in the 1880s. It's survived longer than any vampire, and it's practically immortal like a vampire.
  • A full moon on Halloween is quite rare. The next one isn't due until 2039! After that, there will be only three more Halloween full moons before 2100.

Happy Haunting, and May Your Candy Buckets Be Ever Full!
