[ARCHIVED] Brace for Road Construction: How to Access Egremont Library

Blurred background of road construction workers with two orange and white stripped traffic cones in

Buttonball Lane is the next roadway for an infrastructure rehaul and update, so it will take some deep breaths to maneuver around construction cones, uneven pavement, and dirt to get to the library.

Egremont's Free Library Director, Lesliann Furcht, suggests requesting book(s) and picking them up after 6 PM on the weekdays or anytime during the weekend, as the pick-up box is "open" 24/7 for those who have books ready. If you want to enter the library during construction, Lesliann suggests waiting until after 5 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday or coming in on Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM.

However, if you're willing to pass through the construction gauntlet, the construction workers will allow patrons onto Buttonball Lane to get to the library during library hours.

For questions or help with borrowing books and DVDs, email Lesliann or phone 413.528.1474.

Library Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2 to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM.
