The second and final Public Workshop was held Saturday, March 11, 2023, with over 100 Egremonters spending three hours in small groups discussing their recommended goals and actions for a future Egremont. The topics arose from the first Workshop and community-wide survey and covered the following:
- Housing
- Economic Development (including agriculture)
- Recreation
- Land Preservation, Protection, and Stewardship (including agricultural lands and climate change)
- Historic Preservation and Future Development (including building and site design and climate change)
A second and final community-wide survey will be distributed; its questions will be based on the work done by Egremonters in this second Workshop and the priorities they assigned to their output.
